about me
You probably do not know me, dear reader, but I’m Adarsh. I am from India but am currently doing my PhD in Australia. I write a lot, partly as an occupational hazard but also in part out of passion.
Besides this newsletter, I regularly write on my personal blog about identity, caste/class binaries, feelings, society, and politics.
Okay, writing a lot is not all that impressive. so, when I am not writing, I’m generally sketching in art books, binge-watching thrillers on Netflix, or admiring George Orwell!

about fuzzy notes
When I first thought of writing newsletters regularly, I thought of several ideas around fuzziness, margins, note-taking, imperfection, and disorder. Like its name, fuzzy notes aim to contribute to ideas' fuzziness — in their raw form, as one reads them in essays and books.
In this newsletter, I will post excerpts of articles and essays I may have read, enjoyed, and deemed worth sharing. Its approach will be deeply personal, allowing readers like yourselves to think.
fuzzy notes is not an everyday newsletter—it doesn’t aim to be. It will be a curated collection of essay excerpts catering to your intellectual and otherwise desires. I have been greatly inspired by writers such as George Orwell and thought curators such as Maria Popova’s The Marginalian.
This substack newsletter draws inspiration on ways of living and a good life. I am a student of politics, and some of the articles will inevitably point the reader in the direction of a political philosophy enthusiast. But this newsletter is much more than that. I write about politics, philosophy, culture, and society.
At its core, fuzzy notes aim to allow the reader to read for the joy of it.
take my word for it: I won’t spam you 🤪
